Controversies
- Before Vengeful was released, Schwab said on Twitter that Vengeful would make Victor canonically asexual.[1] This is true — there's a brief section in Vengeful describing how he doesn't feel sexual attraction, although the word is never used. The overall reaction from the community was mixed. [2]
- Update: The line in the book referenced above describes how Victor is not interested in sex. It does NOT say he doesn't feel sexual attraction. These are not synonymous. Someone may be interested in sex due to reasons other than sexual attraction, and someone can be disinterested in sex despite experiencing sexual attraction. It is not clear where Victor lies on the matter, and therefore it is inaccurate to conclude he is canonically asexual.
