  • Murder
Several characters are murdered throughout the course of the novel. Several nameless Stormtroopers are killed throughout the actions of the book, though they are not dwelled upon. A minor background character is executed in a bar for standing up to the Imperials early on in the novel. Hoban, a supporting character, is executed by Stormtroopers for beginning an uprising. Many farmers are murdered by the Sixth Brother, a Sith Lord. One character is bisected with his lightsaber, the rest killed off page with it. Included in these deaths are supporting characters Kolvin and Neera. At the end of the novel, Ahsoka uses the Force to pull the Kyber crystal's out of the Sixth Brother's lightsaber. This causes an explosion, which kills him.
  • Death
Many characters die throughout the course of the novel. Many are murdered. In addition, as Ahsoka deals with the aftermath of Order 66, there are several references to the deaths of Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Anakin's Clone Troopers.
  • Torture
Kaedeen, a supporting character, is captured by the Empire. She is tortured with the eventual goal of giving up Ahsoka's location, though she is rescued shortly after. Her arm is broken during this encounter. It is in chapter 15, and the section is easy to skip. She is threatened again with torture later, but nothing comes of it.
  • Gun violence
Stormtroopers and other Imperial agents use guns throughout the novel and shoot at the other characters. Two of them, a minor background character and a supporting character, are executed via these guns.
  • Police Brutality
Throughout the novel, Stromtroopers and other Imperial agents (the acting police force in the city) attack the rebel group. Excluding the warnings mentioned above, the other references to their brutality are not graphic.
